TCS to offer 24/7 IT support to Air Liquide

NEW YORK, USA: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Friday said it has signed a multi-year contract to provide application support, maintenance and development services, with Air Liquide USA LLC, a subsidiary of Air Liquide Group which provides gases for industry, health and the environment.

Leveraging its Global Network Delivery Model (GNDM), TCS will provide end-to-end application development and maintenance services to support 5,800 Air Liquide users round the clock, improving operational effectiveness and efficiency, said a press release.

The Indian IT major will oversee day-to-day IT management through a managed services model as well as offer immediate problem diagnosis and repair services.

"We are very pleased to be working with TCS," said Ravi Waran, chief information officer, Air Liquide USA LLC. "I look forward to TCS' contribution to helping Air Liquide achieve its business goals."

TCS to bring Application Preventive Maintenance

TCS will also bring in Application Preventive Maintenance as part of its service delivery model to increase productivity and reduce repair costs by streamlining IT costs and enhancing business performance, the release added.

The GNDM is a collaborative framework of people, processes and infrastructure, which taps on TCS' global intellectual assets of tools, methodologies and products to help customers reduce implementation time to realize benefits quicker and achieve business goals.
