TCS launches trading, surveillance platform

MUMBAI, INDIA: Indian IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Tuesday announced the launch of its new Java-based Exchange Trading and Surveillance platform, integrated with its Clearing, Depository and Settlement solutions.

This integrated solution which has components for Trading, real-time Risk Management, Clearing and Surveillance, is a significant enhancement to the capabilities of TCS BaNCS Market Infrastructure, the company claimed in a press release.

Validating Interconnected Stock Exchange’s (ISE’s) experience with TCS BaNCS Market Infrastructure, Mathew, MD, said, “ISE is glad to be part of the launch of the integrated end-to-end solution from TCS BaNCS Market Infrastructure. In addition to the Exchange Trading component, this solution extends similar, highly desirable, real-time capabilities across Risk Management, Market Surveillance and Clearing,”

He added that their experience, through this implementation, has been excellent and are keenly pursuing go-live program, subject to SEBI approval and are keen to harvest many benefits with TCS BaNCS.
