TCS iON organises IntelliGem Competition for School Students from Class 5-9

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced registrations for the third edition of TCS iON IntelliGem. It is a national-level contest for students of Classes 5 to 9.

It is a pre-designed, methodological test that helps young learners develop relevant transferable skills in five key areas. They are creativity and innovation, communication, financial literacy, universal values, and global citizenship.

How To Participate?

First, the School registers and encourages the students to register using their school ID. The students, then, select the topic(s) and pay the amount to participate. They start learning, preparing for the topic, and participate and win exciting prizes.

Students will need a valid email ID to register for TCS iON IntelliGem. Further, this will be the Login ID to access the TCS iON Digital Learning Hub platform. Participating students will also have access to learning material such as digital booklets on 21st-century skills, webinars, puzzles, games, etc.

The contest has three rounds- an online qualifying round, pre-final rounds in a physical-digital mode, and a national level grand finale. From here, winners of the contest will receive cash prizes, leadership training, and gadgets, apart from trophies, medals, and certificates. Furthermore, the school that performs the best will receive the School Excellence Award.

There are 5 topics, and each costs INR 400. You can, further, select upto 5 topics. They are:

Timeline of the TCS iON IntelliGem Program

You cannot participate without school registration. Please ask your school to register first. Upon successful registration from the schools, a unique numeric School ID will be generated using which students can then register themselves. The first round behind in November. The last date to apply for the contest is October 15, 2020.

Further, participants who have registered for the contest should have access to a desktop or a laptop computer with internet (LAN-based or Wi-Fi) and a web camera (as applicable). This will be required during the Qualifying Rounds. Also, participants will have to make their own arrangements.
