TCS to open development center in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Indian IT provider Tata Consultancy Services, announced on Monday that they will inaugurate their first learning and development center on Tuesday for campus trainees in the city.

The new center is equipped to train 6,000 professionals in a year. It will offer TCS’ leading edge learning curriculum over three months to those who join the company directly from colleges, said a press release.

The new Learning and Development Center re-inforces the company’s leading role in the city’s rapidly growing IT industry.

TCS to hire 5,500 engg graduates from 42 colleges

The company continues to invest in the engineering talent from colleges in Andhra Pradesh: for 2011-12, TCS has made employment offers to over 5,500 engineering students from 42 colleges in the state, the release added.

“TCS remains committed to the growth of IT sector in Andhra Pradesh. With over five global development centers (GDCs) functioning in the city and the second phase of Synergy Park being built, we continue to invest in the state both in terms of infrastructure and talent,” said V Rajanna, vice president, Tata Consultancy Services.
