NEW DELHI: BEA Systems and Tata Infotech Ltd (TIL) have partnered in India to
address the $500 million Transaction Platform market. Under the agreement, Tata
Infotech and BEA Systems are launching Weblogic training for Indian
professionals.
The Transaction Platform market is slated to be $44 billion globally in the
next five years. Transaction Platform technology assists in making the existing
systems work better, more effectively and helps corporates get their returns on
investments faster.
The training capsule would be hosted at Tata Infotech centers in metros like
Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, etc. Earlier handled by BEA instructors,
these courses will now be conducted by Tata Infotech. The course would also
enable professionals (holders of Java certification) to upgrade their skills and
widen their career options.
BEA would leverage Tata Infotech's education infrastructure to deliver high
quality training programs throughout the country. This would complete TIL's
corporate product portfolio offerings, especially with respect to clients who
want to build enterprise level systems based on WebLogic Server.
Rahul Thapan, head-education services division, TIL, said, "Worldwide,
customers are looking for solutions that provide competitive edge to their
business. It is imperative for Information Technology companies to provide
"best-of-breed" components for these solutions. As Tata Infotech is
already providing System Integration solutions, based on BEA Systems' products,
it was natural for us to extend this relationship to provide training on the
fastest growing Transaction Platform technology to India."
