The eNodeB solution includes high performance L1 software on the Texas Instruments TCI6487 multi-core DSPs, integrated with Tata Elxsi’s L2/L3 LTE eNodeB software. Designed with a modular architecture and easy-to-use API’s, Tata Elxsi's L2/L3 library is compliant with the latest 3GPP-defined LTE specifications, and is hardware and operating system agnostic, supporting both single and multiple core CPU architecture. The solution is designed to be very flexible, allowing seamless integration with third party components, reducing development risk and shortening time-to-market.

The Tata Elxsi UE development suite provides highly optimized L2/L3 software, modularly architected for SoC implementation. This allows SoC vendors the flexibility of partitioning and optimizing the L2/L3 implementation to suit their unique architecture.

Tata Elxsi also provides building blocks and certain components like RoHC v1/v2, Ciphering Algorithms (Eg: AES, SNOW-3G), and LTE Libraries (Eg: PDCP, RLC, MAC etc) for faster product development cycles. These components are available for both the eNodeB and UE stacks, are standards compliant and are already part of several designs.
