NEW DELHI, INDIA: Tata Elxsi, a technological arm of the Tata group, today announced its tie up with Proassist, a Japan-based providers of product/system development services in embedded control electronics.
The partnership reiterates Tata Elxsi's strength in embedded products and design - DSP, Imaging and ASIC, said in a press release.
The partners will look towards drawing synergies and working together on various embedded projects thus mutually benefiting their customer base in Japan.
Ikoma Kyoko, chief executive officer, Proassist said, "Tata Elxsi and Proassist are in collaboration to build the PGDC (Proassist Global Development Center) in India with TEL, Bangalore."
"The PGDC will be responsible for embedded projects in DSP, Imaging and ASIC for Factory Automation customers in Japan. TEL and PA will jointly work on R&D projects and IP developments,” he added.
"Japan remains a key market for Tata Elxsi," according to Manoj Raghavan, geography head for Japan and East Asia, Tata Elxsi.
"This collaboration with Proassist for building the PGDC will not only help both the companies but will also strengthen our foothold in the long term and increment the level of our technical expertise in the embedded space and IP development," he said.
