This will catalyse next-generation technologies based around a series of three challenges announced over the course of the 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship. By assembling an unprecedented calibre of Formula 1 judges, including Martin Brundle and Lewis Hamilton, and a coveted USD $50,000 prize fund, the prize will foster and reward innovative and creative thinking in connectivity.

Tata Communications consistently dares the world's most elite designers, programmers and thinkers to challenge the status quo and build rich, contextual experiences with seamless interconnection. Last year, it brought together nearly 200 developers in Silicon Valley to build their vision for the next generation of collaboration tools, with ideas to transform enterprise productivity, software development, online learning and social networking.

The F1 Connectivity Innovation Prize is further testament to Tata Communications' commitment to rewarding innovation and fostering collaboration and is amongst a number of world's first initiatives that the company has cultivated within the F1 ecosystem since its relationship began in 2012.
