Tata Comm ties up with Sabeer Bhatia's InstaColl

MUMBAI, INDIA: Tata Communications today announced that its subsidiary, Tata Communications Internet Services Ltd. (TCISL), has tied up with Sabeer Bhatia promoted InstaColl to offer Live Documents, which enables, creating, editing, sharing presentations, spreadsheets and documents on a SaaS model for both corporates and individuals.

“This VAS service will be offered at a special price point to suit Indian purses. This is yet another example of the company's commitment to customer delight,” said Prateek Pashine, COO of TCISL.

Sabeer Bhatia, who co-founded the email service Hotmail, which was later sold to Microsoft for $400 million, said his company was delighted to enter this partnership.

“We are delighted to partner with Tata Communications to evangelize Live Documents and web-based productivity in India. I am confident that our innovative product coupled with the stature, reach and reputation of Tata Communications will offer a best-of-breed web destination that will meet the most compelling customer imperatives around office productivity and collaboration," he said.
