SECUNDERABAD, INDIA: Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAP India Education to educate and up-skill the youth in the region.
SAP Education wishes to set-up Student Academy centers at various college campuses associated with TASK as the authorized education partner and facilitate e-learning.
Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said, “The new initiatives by TASK will boost the dynamic and evolving IT industry and help increase the job prospects of talented, deserving youngsters in Telangana. This will give an overall impetus to the industry at large.”
TASK is a nonprofit organization created by the Ministry of IT, Telangana for bringing synergy among institutions of Government, Industry & Academia and offer quality human resources and services to the industry.
TASK runs similar kind of Technology Skilling Programs in collaboration with Hitachi, Samsung, Infosys, IBM, Microsoft, Autodesk also.
“TASK has been collaborating with industry leaders to provide skill based training to the students and make them industry ready”, said TASK CEO Sujiv Nair.
TASK’s framework is designed to produce enough number of readily employable graduates by improving their IT skills. “With TASK, we aim to empower youth with technological skills required to give them a competitive edge for better career opportunities across the globe”, said David Osborne, Global Head Education – SAP.
