Working in concert with Microsoft, TANDBERG, visual communication company, has enabled Zuneoptimized content creation through the TANDBERG Content Server, the company's Windows-based streaming and archiving solution. Using the Content Server, any standards-based videoconference can be instantly recorded and optimized for Microsoft Zune download and playback without any additional configuration, a TANDBERG statement said.

"With the TANDBERG Content Server, Microsoft Zune not only enables people to enjoy their favorite songs or videos, but to catch up on important training sessions or product presentations when and where they want," said Fredrik Halvorsen, chief executive officer for TANDBERG.

Creating Zune-optimized video presentations with the TANDBERG Content Server is as easy as placing a phone call. From any standards-based videoconference system, users simply call into the Content Server to stream and/or record the presentation, essentially turning any room with a videoconferencing system into a video creation studio. The archived content is instantly optimized for quick download to a Zune device.
