Tally to strengthen e-compliance awareness drive in Karnataka

BANGALORE, INDIA: Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. today announced that they have successfully reached out to more than 50 thousand businesses and recorded more than 36,000 successful KVAT e-UpaSS uploads, the mandatory uploading of sales and purchase statements issued by the Karnataka Commercial Taxes Department, in a short span of 30 days.

With the educative period extended till the August 20, Tally is planning to strengthen its e-compliance awareness drive further and extend it to all corners of Karnataka.

According to the Karnataka Commercial Taxes Department though many dealers have already uploaded e-UPaSS, there are still a large number of dealers who are yet to complete the process. In lieu of this, the department has issued a notification extending the educative period for all dealers in the 1Cr to 5Cr turnover bracket till August 20, 2014.

For dealers in the 50 Lakh to 1 Cr turnover bracket the educative period is till September 20, 2014. With the extension in educative period Tally Solutions who has been organising several awareness programmes and road shows across business hot spots in the city, is planning to take its awareness drive to the smaller towns and help establishments to comply to the regulation with ease.
