Tally Solutions crosses the border

Tally has an installed base of 4500 customers across the large and SMB segments in Bangladesh

BENGALURU, INDIA: Tally Solutions is seeing increasing customer traction for its accounting software from across the border.


The company boasts of an installed customer base of over 4500 customers across the large and SMB segments, across verticals.

The latest to sign on the dotted line is Poly cable Industry, one of the largest manufacturers of poly cables in Bangladesh.

According to a press release, Poly cable recently upgraded a range of operations from account and inventory management to tracking outstanding and product movement on Tally.ERP 9 and Tally.Server 9.


The company, which produces over 500 categories of wires and cables for various industrial purposes, has been using Tally software since 2005.

The company was facing challenges in manual book keeping, which was both a tedious and time consuming process. In the absence of business intelligence reports, it faced serious delays in consolidating reports and information from across their branches, which was in turn affecting their business growth and hampering an accurate analysis of their market standing.

“Our business has seen an increased efficiency of 70 percent after we started using Tally.ERP 9. The various features of Tally.ERP 9 and Tally.Server 9 have removed the redundancy that we were facing in our process earlier, and have brought in greater agility and responsiveness to our business,” said Mohammad Fardwas Alam, CFO, Poly cable.
