Talkzilla – the app that will change VoIP calling forever

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Although the idea of having a virtual animated character in a VoIP calling app might seem a bit “uncalled-for”, the system integrated in Talkzilla is pretty simple: after installing the app, the users can also access an additional screen with a virtual baby monster, five cookies and 10 eggs.

The cookies are used to grow the baby monster into five different stages and the more it grows, the bigger the discounts on buying calling credits will be. Users get virtual cookies through placing calls (at a rate of 10 cookies/$1 calling credit used).

They also have a strong referral system at their finger tips: each egg can be used to invite a friend to download the app via mail or message. When the referred friend places his first order, the user automatically gets $2 calling credit and 30 delicious cookies to grow their monster.

Talkzilla comes with free trial credit and truly smashing calling rates that are on average up to 50 percent lower than other’s VoIP calling apps existing on the market. When Wi-Fi or 3G access is not available, the app provides a toll free access number, thus allowing users to make calls at low rates regardless of the internet connection.

“We worked to create a simple VoIP app that not only offers the lowest calling rates available, but also incorporates a completely unique and fun spin,” states Thomas Knobel, chairman and CEO. “Moreover, Talkzilla has a major advantage over its competition: minimum rates! We really want this app to become the most affordable tool for making calls all around the world. That’s why we are constantly striving to keep our calling rates from 30 up to 50 percent lower than our main competitors. Unlike other companies, our background of 15 years in the telecom industry means we have the appropriate systems to offer really low rates and an excellent sound quality.”
