BANGALORE: Talisma Corporation will be recruiting 500 additional employees by this year end for its outsourced services. Currently, the company has 200 employees in the outsourced service team. It will also be adding infrastructure by acquiring a new place in Bangalore, which can seat 300 to 400 employees, and will be ready for occupation by April next year.

The company has earmarked Rs 5 crore for expansion for the next 12 months. Currently servicing 12 to 15 customers, it expects the number of clients to scale up to 20 by the end of this year. This move is estimated to fetch them an increase in revenue by over 50 percent.

Talisma Corporation Vice President-Offshore Services and IT Chandrasekar Shetty, said, "Talisma outsourced services include outsourcing, hosting and product support. What started as a product support for Talisma has groomed into a major and one of the only in-bound tech support contact center in the country. Today we support a host of other product and service, apart from our own product, Talisma."

Recently the company’s inbound contact center had obtained the COPC certification. With this Talisma’s centre has become the first inbound technical support center in India to get the conditional certification. "We were impressed with Talisma's approach and deployment of its quality system and it is among the best we have seen. It is truly a 360 quality system from every perspective," stated COPC chairman Cliff Moore in a media release.

"The ramp-up from baseline to certification is some of the best we have seen in the industry. Very rarely have we have come across this level of understanding and percolation of the fundamentals right down to the agent level. We would like to congratulate the entire Talisma team on this accomplishment."

"We have built a strong team who understands customer support processes. Talisma provides a unique combination of contact centre technology solutions and services that enable us to provide a completely integrated offering to our customers. This allows our customers to deliver better customer service at a lower cost by leveraging Talisma technology and services.

We truly believe that standards such as the COPC-2000 Standard will go a long way in establishing ourselves as a leading global CRM player," added Shetty. The company is also in the process of rolling out its latest version of its flagship product, Talisma 5. The launch is expected to be in November or December this year.
