What is the significance of CRM pieces in TAKE's portfolio and strategy?

TAKE has been very strong in the regulatory and the clinical part of the Life Sciences business. With our increased scope of offerings TAKE positions itself as niche player in the Life Sciences domain with solutions and services right from drug development to until post marketing. Sales and marketing falls part of this larger framework and so the CRM piece fits in pretty well with TAKE’s strategy.

C&D strength lies in addressing the sales and marketing of Pharma space. They are market leaders and have a significant presence globally. So the partnership ensures that we at TAKE are able to offer the right mix and the best solution available today in the market to our existing customer base as well as helps us to increase our positioning in the market by covering the entire Life Sciences space.

Can you share your plans on the integration at market strategy and vertical penetration level?

The current strategy is to explore the larger customer base that TAKE has which is close to 400 plus customers globally and about 40 plus customers in India. So it is to go back to our existing customer base and provide the extended scope of offerings and at the same time explore newer opportunities.

To start with the market focus would be India and MEA and then we would pursue other markets.

What are the possibilities in CRM plugged together with SCM space?

While it could be a natural progression, the two areas itself have wide space for to grow independently. But matured organizations are in the process of drafting a strategy to integrate the same, so as to get a larger value but this could take some time.

Your future areas of interest for acquisitions etc?

These would be Life Sciences R & D, Life Sciences Sales & Marketing and Life Sciences Supply Chain Management.
