Supreme Electronics said the ample supplies of memory chips from Samsung Electronics will help raise its revenues to NT$3 billion (US $92.88 million) in November 2009.

Yosun Industrial, another Taiwan-based distributor of memory IC for Samsung Electronics, said it expects its revenues for November 2009 to surpass those of October 2009.

In the last two months, downstream device-makers and distributors have been receiving limited quantities of NAND flash from Samsung Electronics since the Samsung has been giving priority in orders to Apple. Now the scarcity in supplies has come to an end, mainly since the sales of iPhone in China are not as strong as in many other countries.

According to industry sources, Samsung Electronics also has enhanced its supply of DRAM chips to downstream customers.

Earlier reports had said that Samsung Electronics was planning to expand sales of chips on a contract basis, aimed at meeting seasonal demand from consumer electronics and handset OEMs.
