TAITRA engages netizens through online quiz

TAIWAN: Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has tapped into cyberspace to promote the ‘Taiwan Excellence’ campaign in India by hosting the ‘Excel Yourself Quiz’ competition.

The not-for-profit trade promotion organization, supervised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), MOEA, Taiwan, plans to leverage the growing presence of audience in India on the Internet to engage and increase awareness about Taiwan’s ICT industry and the technological excellence achieved by the associate brands in manufacturing “reliable, innovative, and worthy” products designed to bring “Excellent Lifestyles” to Indian consumers.

Participants who respond correctly within 10 minutes to all quiz questions are eligible for a lucky draw to win innovative technology products from leading Taiwanese IT brands like ASUS, MSI, Aiptek and BenQ.

Whereas the fastest participant to answer all 10 questions correctly wins a grand prize of ASUS Eee PC, the release added.

Paul Chen, director, TAITRA, Mumbai, India, said “India is witnessing the fastest internet penetration and our online ‘Excel Yourself Quiz’ contest aims to tap the growing popularity and presence of consumers on the internet to engage them to the Taiwan Excellence campaign in India”

He added that the participation in the quiz will allow them to establish closer connection with consumers by providing them information on Taiwan’s leadership in the ICT industry, leading Taiwanese brands in various consumer electronics segments,  and an update about their recent initiatives and activities hosted under the Integrated Marketing Communication Campaign.
