Systime launches GDC in Chennai

CHENNAI, INDIA: Systime, a CMS group company and one of the largest JD Edwards practices worldwide, has announced the launch of its state-of-the-art global delivery centre (GDC) in Chennai. The launch of the GDC is a formal extension of regional business, enabling Systime to serve its global customers better.

In line with its expansion into the global landscape, Systime has set-up this GDC for offshore development projects. Systime currently has a GDC in Navi Mumbai with over 750 employees and one in Pune with a capacity of over 200 seats. The centre in Chennai will start with a seating capacity of 75s and is slated to grow exponentially.

Vishal Grover, President & CEO, Systime, said, "Chennai has always been on our radar with its excellent and vast talent pool besides its proximity to our customers in South India. This new office will help us enlarge our local base. We are expanding both our local business within South India as well as serving more of our global clients through this GDC."

The centre will handle the increasing market demand for varied technologies, spanning all practices of Systime. Currently, the GDC is focusing on JD Edwards practice. There are plans to offer solutions in a phased manner in domains such as business intelligence, products and technology and infrastructure management services.
