Systems America will provide technical support to Ranbaxy

NEW DELHI: Systems America (India), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Systems

America Inc. US, will provide Ranbaxy with technical support in its SAP R/3

implementation.

Systems America (India) is assisting Ranbaxy in achieving a successful SAP

implementation through its consulting services. PriceWaterCoopers maintains the

implementation partnership status with Ranbaxy. The modules being implemented

are SD, MM, PP and FI/CO and they are integrated to each other. The consulting

services have been successfully undertaken in Ranbaxy offices at Mohali, Delhi,

Dewas and rollouts are scheduled in other sales offices and plants.

Systems America is highly focused and dedicated in the areas of SAP practice.

It has a team of 50+ SAP consultants who possess multifunctional expertise.

These consultants, essentially ABAP/4 programmers are providing support to

Ranbaxy in preparation of reports for the functional modules. ABAP/4 is a

programming language that is used in SAP R/3 for development purposes. The

functional areas involving interactive reporting, logical databases. Internal

tables, aggregate objects, function calls ABAP/4 Query, Dialog programming SAP

scripts, Jobs scheduling. Batch Data Communication (BDC). Remote Function calls

(RFC), Object Linking and Embedding (OLE), CPI-C interface, authorization

concepts and the concept of SAP workflow and technical integration. This is a

time and material based project to develop dialog modules, interactive reports,

classical reports, change document objects and logical databases.

Having started operations in India since June 1997, the company has a

software development center in the Software Technology Park, Okhla, New Delhi.
