Syntax to add 100 people in 3 months

BANGALORE: Software product and services company, Syntax Soft-Tech (I) Pvt. Ltd is planning to add 100 professionals within the next three months. Presently it has about 65 employees on its rolls. Registering revenue of Rs 3.25 crore during the last quarter, it ended the fiscal with Rs 5.75 crore and plans to touch Rs 10 crore during 2004-05.



The expansion in manpower, infrastructure, services and building IPR is being funded by US based Total Outsource Inc., which had taken a stake of 40 per cent and has agreed to pump in an investment of anywhere between Rs 5 to 10 crore within the next three years.



Syntax is developing products in supply chain management (SCM) for the manufacturing sector and electronic customer relationship management (eCRM). The products are to be released within the next 180 days. On the services front, the company intents to enter the healthcare sector by offering services, before building product lines for the same.



Apart from this, the company is also mulling a BPO model to its global delivery model.
