Synergy in pact with Australian varsity

BANGALORE: Animation and creative solutions company, Synergy Images, has announced that it would be partnering with Australia's Edith Cowan University, to offer its employees a Masters degree in interactive multimedia technologies.



Synergy Images President and CEO, Malini Subrahmaniam said, "This Master's degree would enable us to have a world class animation team in our company." Currently, the company's clientele consists of Indian companies who avail of various services like animation for films and TV commercials, web design, multimedia and e-learning solutions. The company currently has a 100-member team and one of its main projects is a 3-D animation film, which would be released next year.



Subrahmaniam added, "The animation industry is witnessing tremendous growth and Synergy Images is looking to be a global player in the industry and this education initiative is an opportunity to invest in the latent talent pool that exists in India."



Besides Edith Cowan University, Synergy Images has tied up with the Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi, which would provide guidance for employees who sign up for the course.
