Symphony rated No. 1 in s/w, ISV vertical

CALIFORNIA: Symphony Services on Tuesday announced that it has been named the top Research and Development (R&D) Service Provider, in the software and ISV vertical, in the Global R&D Service Providers Rating 2011 by Zinnov Management Consulting, a management consulting firm.

The software product engineering outsourcing services company secured the top ranking after a comprehensive analysis by Zinnov of the company’s human capital, global engineering services capabilities, lengthy history of successful client engagements and strong financials, said a press release.

Of the more than 75 service providers analyzed, Zinnov concluded that Symphony is the leader in directly advancing clients’ market position, claimed the release.

This is the second time that Symphony has secured the top ranking, having last done so in 2009.

In addition to securing the overall R&D service provider leadership position in the software and ISV segment, Zinnov ranked Symphony as a leader in the storage engineering vertical based on its track record in engineering cutting edge storage technologies.

Symphony Services’ CEO Sanjay Dhawan, said, “Securing Zinnov’s top rating again validates the unique model that has served us so well: to deliver aggressively against agreed-upon outcomes while bringing to market highly differentiated engineering services offerings that software companies need now.”
