Symantec intros new program for channel partners

NEW DELHI: Symantec India today announced the launch of Aspire Rebate Program to reward its channel partners for their commitment and achievement and to help them grow their business. Symantec said in a statement that the program is currently available to its Channel Silver and Registered Partners in Hong Kong, India, Australia and New Zealand.

The new program augments Symantec's expanding portfolio of partner offerings that provide organizations significant benefits for increasing their sales of qualifying Symantec products, particularly to small and mid-sized businesses.

"Symantec transacts its entire business in India through the Partner Community. Our endeavor is to create and foster a community of partners who work with Symantec in making possible Confidence in a Connected World", said Ajay Verma, director, Channels and Strategic Alliance, Symantec India.

"We strongly believe that Symantec's growth is based on our partners' commitment and efforts and the Aspire program is a step in sharing the gains as we grow the business," he added. As of now 130 partners have been registered under the Aspire program in India.

The program will enable Symantec Partners to earn five per cent rebate on all eligible product sales made over and above their revenue goal. The Aspire Rebate Program ends on 28 March 2008 and partners who are enrolled in the Symantec Partner Program at the Channel Registered and Channel Silver levels can participate and register for the program.
