Symantec expands retail network for Norton

BANGALORE, INDIA: The entire range of Norton products will now be available across India through a vast network of over 2500 resellers, system integrators and retail partners of Delhi-based Fortune Marketing Private Ltd.

An agreement to this effect has been inked between security software company Symantec and Fortune Marketing.

The deal is seen as reinforcing Symantec’s business strategy of increasing its footprint in India by expanding the distribution network.

As per the alliance, Fortune Marketing would push Symantec’s existing strong distribution network and increase outreach in the home, SOHO and SMB segments across the country, said a press release.

Gaurav Kanwal, country sales manager, India – Consumer products, Symantec, said, “Consumers in India are increasingly looking for reliable online security solutions that will help address security threats of today and provision for the changing security landscape in the future. Symantec is committing itself to raising awareness of consumers in India and ensuring seamless accessibility to its world-class security solutions.”

He added that in partnering with Fortune Marketing, the company is confident that the combined expertise would provide the most comprehensive network and compelling security solutions to the Indian consumers.

 Adding, Manoj Gupta, managing director, Fortune Marketing said: “The partnership is synergistic for Symantec and Fortune Marketing as there is a good complementary fit between the two organizations.”

Fortune will distribute Symantec’s entire suite of Norton security products including Norton 360, Norton Anti Virus and Norton Internet Security.
