Symantec adds Vista protection on new release

MUMBAI: Symantec Corp. has launched the new versions of Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise Edition.

Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.2 provides automatic defense and response against viruses, spyware and adware for the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.

Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise Edition now includes Symantec Client Security 3.1, which provides protection from complex threats by integrating antivirus, anti-spyware, firewall and intrusion prevention technologies under a single console. The new version also provides content filtering and spam prevention for the Internet gateway and Domino and Exchange environments.
