Sybase partners with SEED Infotech

MUMBAI: In order to expand its presence in the market, Sybase has partnered with SEED Infotech, an IT institute based in Pune.

Sunil Jose, MD India and Sub-Continent, Sybase Software India Private Limited informed that the company is trying to increase the partners by concentrating on smaller partners. This, he feels, can help the company in building their network in the market. NIIT is the educational partner of Sybase for the North region since quite some time. “In order to align ourself with more established education institutes, create ready pool of trained manpower for our solutions, and to deliver corporate trainings on Sybase products, we have tied up with SEED Infotech as it is one of the big local centers in the western region,” said Jose.

To start with, Sybase has tied up with SEED Infotech in the western region and gradually will be moving towards the other cities as well.

SEED Infotech has already conducted open-end workshops on the Adapter Server Enterprises product (ASE), one of the major product of Sybase and has witnessed a good participation from the corporate and students' front. “Having a good exposure in the western region market in the IT sector has helped SEED collaborate with Sybase as their partner,” said Prashant Dhawale, Strategic Alliance Manager, SEED Infotech.

Looking from an Indian perspective, Sybase is also holding talks with the partners in Bengaluru and Kerala for the southern region, and intends to expand in the eastern regions as well. On the marketing front, Sybase has started a partner recruitment drive, in various cities to hold a strong position in the market.

SEED Infotech will be conducting workshops and corporate trainings for the various IT organizations is using Sybase as a product, and intends to take this collaboration to the next level by using more Sybase products in their organization.
