Swipe launches Konnect 5.0 phablet at Rs. 8,999

PUNE, INDIA: Mobile technology company Swipe has introduced a new series in Smartphone Fablets, the Swipe Konnect series.

The first smartphone Fablet in Swipe's Konnect series is the Swipe Konnect 5.0 Fablet which focuses on delivering value by offering features at a competitive price of Rs. 8,999.

Featuring a rich connectivity suite, the Swipe Konnect 5.0 comes encased in a super slim body with a matte finish. The Konnect 5.0 is ergonomically designed to fit into the contours of users' hands, and at 135 gms is one of the lightest 5" Smartphone Fablets in the world.

The Konnect 5.0 has a 5" qHD IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor that can multitask effortlessly and a 1 GB RAM enables smooth performance of the Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS on the device which is upgradable to the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat.

The Swipe Konnect 5.0 is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera, and it also comes with a 3.2 MP front camera for 3G video calling. The rear camera has an OV (OmniVision) sensor which improves the camera's resolution and picture quality.

This Smartphone Fablet comes with 8 GB inbuilt memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB via an external SD card.
