NEW DELHI: Data Access India Ltd., an affiliate of Richard Li's Pacific

Convergence Corporation, has introduced Network of the World (NOW). NOW is the

synchronization of live television through the NOW channel with the World Wide

Web through its convergence portal NOW.com.

NOW's ISP subscribers will be equipped to experience live TV with a degree of

interactivity, video streaming, audio and music, rich graphics and text. And for

the first time in India, Net users can register online and instantly activate

their NOW ISP account without stepping out of their homes. Users will also have

the convenience of paying later for the hours that they have consumed. NOW is

targeting both the household and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) segments

for its ISP services.

The NOW ISP service comes in a 4-tier range - Insta, Rapid, Turbo and DSL

packs. The dial-up packs are available at registration fees of Rs 199 for Insta

and Rapid and Rs 499 for Turbo at over 300 outlets in Delhi including non

traditional outlets such as Planet M and Shoppers Stop. NOW has also introduced

a 24-hour phone-in help service.
