Now along with Netflix, HotStar and Amazon Prime Video, you have another streaming option to watch your favorite regional shows on Sun TV Network's new digital content platform called Sun NXT.

Kalanithi Maran-owned Sun TV has launched “Sun NXT”, an app enabling customers to watch their popular TV programmes in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada anytime and anywhere on their preferred devices. It is available on both Android and iOS devices.

The app has already crossed 1.1 million downloads within four days of the launch. In an official statement, the company said, "We are delighted to receive such an astonishing response for the Sun NXT from the public. Thanks to their interest, the Sun NXT crossed over 1.1 million downloads. This is the quickest path to the first million among its peers in the category. Momentum is strong and accelerating, and all signs point towards the next milestone of over 2 million downloads."

Sun TV is offering customers three affordable plans to gain access to its massive content library. The monthly plan is available for Rs 50 for 30 days; the quarterly plan will cost you Rs 130 for 90 days, while annual plan comes with a price tag of Rs 495 for 365 days.

With a film library of over 4000 titles, over 40 channels streaming live, people can watch Live TV, movies, kids shows, news, comedy clips, catch-up, video on demand (VOD), originals, music and much more in all four South Indian languages. Sun NXT is also available on the desktop web, and the website is available for access here.

Like other digital content streaming platforms, Sun TV is also providing a thirty-day trial period, after which the subscription plan starts.
