Sun, PortWise tie up for SSL VPN appliance

NEW DELHI: Sun Microsystems India and PortWise AB have entered a sales, marketing and technology partnership, to deliver a Linux-based SSL VPN appliance. This agreement will provide end-to-end secure application access for remote workers, partners and customers across the country.

The Sun Fire V20z appliance is an advanced set of Internet security technologies. This appliance offers a user-friendly user interface, one-click VPN deployment and one-click certificate for strong authentication.



The Sun/PortWise SSL VPN appliance is available immediately to Sun's Indian customers. Pricing starts at $6500.
