The expo witnessed more than 1.5 lakh visitors, who checked out the latest technologies and products from IT, telecom, office automation, education, training and software industries.

The most popular gadgets on display were small-sized netbooks, nettops, tablet PCs, security cameras and systems, note-counting machines, electronic safes, TV-cum-LCD monitors, Apple Macbooks and wireless networking products.

Many inquires were also registered for degree courses as well as other technical/job oriented courses, offered by YCMOU and HCL Career Development Center, who had their stalls at Comp-Ex.

The first Summer Comp-Ex was held in June last year with just about 20 stalls. This time, the number of stalls increased and a much larger venue had to be chosen. “We witnessed a much better response compared to previous year. This year the number of visitors also doubled and we were able to demonstrate our products, answer customer queries in an efficient manner. This was made especially possible as space was not at all a constraint,” expressed Dinesh Gupta of Datatronics Systems, Nagpur.
