Sujit Sircar appointed new CFO of iGate

BANGALORE, INDIA: iGate Corporation, an IT service provider, on Saturday announced the appointment of Sujit Sircar as the company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Prior to this he was associated with iGate as senior vice president, finance and has been serving the company for past ten years.

He assumed his new role upon the sudden death of N.Ramachandran, previous CFO, iGate Corporation.

Phaneesh Murthy, chief executive officer, iGATE Corporation said, "Sujit has been a great asset to iGATE. Sujit was key to the integration, transformation and cost restructuring of iGATE and we are happy to appoint him as our new CFO."

Before joining iGate he was associated with Wipro as manager for financial planning and was also instrumental in setting up financial processes for its joint venture with British Telecom.

He received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of West Bengal.
