Sudip Banarjee joins L&T infotech as CEO

MUMBAI,INDIA: L&T Infotech, subsidiary of technology, engineering and manufacturing provider Larsen & Toubro, today announced the appointed Sudip Banerjee as its Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1.

He is expected to drive the company’s ambitious growth plans, add strategic depth to its wide-ranging offerings, and secure greater traction from its unique ‘business-to-IT’ connects, said a press release.

He would report to V. K. Magapu, Director, L&T Group, and would operate from Mumbai and Bangalore.

Before joining L&T he was associated with Wipro Technologies, as president – Enterprise Solutions.

He started his career in the IT industry in 1979, and joined Wipro in 1983 as one of the earliest members of the IT group of the company.
