Subex Systems reports increase in profit

BANGALORE: Telecom Software company, Subex Systems Ltd, announced a first quarter profit after tax of Rs. 85.56 mn.

The un-audited revenue of the company increased to Rs. 412.15 mn from Rs. 226.30 mn in the corresponding period last year.

Announcing the results, Subash Menon, president and CEO, Subex Systems said, "the growth was particularly substantial in the products side. The products revenue contributed to about 65 percent of the total revenue in this quarter, compared to 36 percent in the first quarter of FY05. In keeping with the non-linearity of the products business, the net profit more than doubled.”
