A press release said that the solution is enhanced with real-time operational intelligence capabilities based on analytic database management systems provider Vertica's data warehousing solution.

With the rise in subscriber numbers and the growing need for real-time operational processes, the volume of usage data that is collected, stored and processed has risen exponentially, it said.

In addition, while strategic business intelligence solutions exist, CSPs have a rapidly growing need for operations intelligence and warehousing that are more granular, timely and flexible. These enable real-time operational analytics, issue diagnoses, root-cause correction and ultimately prevention.

Subex has also signed an agreement with Dataupia, a provider of scalable data warehousing solutions, to jointly provide the revenue maximization solutions to its customers.

“As we move into a business climate of increased governance and transparency, it is not just about the accuracy and integrity of finance systems such as ERP but that of the many in-house systems and outsourced functions that ultimately feed them,” said Subash Menon, founder chairman, managing director and CEO, Subex Ltd.

He added that Subex has built significant telecom domain and operations expertise over the years that feed into Rocware.

“That knowledge along with our global customer base allowed us to understand the needs for assuring the various operational processes, validating the integrity of data they generate and enabling timely and accurate decision making,” he said.
