Subex partners with Russian firm

BANGALORE: Subex Limited, a provider of operations and business support systems, announced today it has signed a reseller agreement with JSC 'Company TransTeleKom' (TTK), a Russian- based provider in fixed network.

This partnership would allow TTK to offer the full gamut of managed services to operators, including consultancy in fraud management and revenue assurance with Subex's support, audits, bureau services and implementations based on Subex's products, said a press release.

“One of the spurs of our growth in OSS/BSS are partners like TTK, with whom we jointly provide best-in-class OSS/BSS technology to leading operators around the world.” said Colin Hales, vice president, Global Alliances, Subex Ltd.

He added that they are happy to have extended this alliance with TTK, and their aim is to touch newer, growing operators in Russia.

The two main products being used are Nikira fraud management system and Moneta revenue assurance system, both of which are key components of the Subex ROC - Revenue Operations Center, said the release.

Nikira fraud management system is the next generation fraud management solution built to deliver on a three-step philosophy of Detect-Investigate-Protect.

It detects known fraud types and patterns of unusual behavior; helps investigate these unusual patterns for potential fraud and uses the knowledge generated to upgrade and protect against future intrusions.

Moneta Revenue Assurance System offers a set of pre-configured solution templates to address revenue assurance challenges inherent to individual service verticals of Wireless, Fixed, Cable, etc.

“This partnership with a global leader like Subex will help us further meet all the requirements of today’s operators, also in hard days of current world economic crises,” said, Alexander Zolotnikov, head of the Information Security Department, TTK.
