The Education Minister will go live today (December 22) at 5 PM. He will speak about the board exams after having spoken on JEE Mains 2021. The question of dates, syllabus and number of attempts still looms on JEE Advanced and most importantly NEET 2021 students. As fo JEE Advanced, students want a third attempt and the dates. But, after the revision in JEE Main 2021 pattern, many students have reached out to the Education Minister asking for NEET 2021 to be conducted twice.
On December 10, regarding the reduction of the syllabus in JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021, he had said that they were discussing the matter internally. But all students will be able to give the exams if they have basic knowledge, he had said. He also spoke on the possibility of revising the paper pattern to attend to the reduction in the various board examination syllabus to accommodate the same. Thus, NEET 2021 might see a reduction in syllabus.
What do students have to say?
Here are some tweets that can make the matter clearer.
Respected Sir, As being a dropper I think it won't be stressful for the droppers to attend NEET 2021 in May but for many freshers it will be tough. So by considering all problems and limitations fix a proper date such that everyone can be prepared for upcoming exams.

I don't think no discrimination would be exercised in case of NEET 2021. Hon'ble Minister wil announce today minimum four attempts for NEET 2021 exam. He will reduce more than 45 percent syllabus for NEET test.

dear sir,
there has always been more number of neet applicants than the no of jee applicants.
taking covid situation into consideration it would be better to conduct even the neet exam more than once. @DrRPNishank @DG_NTA#neet2021 #NEET21TWICE— ayidaa (@ayidaa7) December 20, 2020

Conduct neet 2 times plz.
Jee is going to be 4 times in a year why should neet be only once in year. Please conduct neet twice in a year.— Manish (@Manish00930071) December 16, 2020
So, should NEET 2021 happen multiple times? Let us know in the comments.
Students must also know that NEET 2021 will not get postponed whatsoever. The education minister had already made this clear in his monologue on December 10.
