StorageConnections.Net launches system solution

BANGALORE, INDIA: StorageConnections.Net, a provider in iSCSI solutions for the SMEs and Enterprises around the globe, announced on Friday the availability of the FreeSiOS from their website.

The company is giving away the FreeSiOS to anyone and everyone to increase the awareness of iSCSI as the most cost effective network data transfer protocol, said a press release.

The FreeSiOS is a bootable system file that needs to be copied onto a DOM (Disk-on-Module), also available for purchase from the online shop, it added.

The user can simply plug the DOM onto the server motherboard and FreeSiOS would work by turning the server into an Enterprise Class iSCSI Target.
