Rashi Peripherals has launched Netgears' next generation storage device named Storage Central SC101 Turbo, a flexible, upgradeable way to store your music, photos and videos-and access them at gigabit speeds.

Users simply need to insert one or two 3.5-inch SATA drives of any capacity from any vendor into Storage Central Turbo, connect it to any router or switch, and Smart Wizard takes care of the configuration. It functions just like a local disk drive, accessible from any network computer, but without requiring a dedicated PC. Advanced backup and synchronization software protects against data loss automatically with mirroring.

As your storage needs grow, Storage Central Turbo keeps pace by letting you upgrade with larger capacity SATA drives and even additional Storage Central Turbo devices.

This is one of the smallest storage device with dimensions of 175.25x150x146mm that becomes an ideal solution considering the increasing real estate value. With 10/100/1000 Mbps (auto-sensing) Ethernet, RJ-45 interface, it supports TCP/IP, DHCP, SAN protocol to give one of the most broad based solution in SOHO segment for storage. To make management easy, Storage Central Turbo comes along with three colored diagnostic LEDs: green for power, blue for hard disk and green for network.

The product is available through Rashi Peripherals at a price tag of Rs 17,300 and comes with one-year warranty.
