Twitter might not be a social networking site like " target="_blank">Facebook or Snapchat as per its bosses but the ‘micro-blogging site might just be wanting to look like one. According to Recode, Twitter might soon be adding Stickers feature for you to use your photos on the website.

The feature would let people add drawings and stickers to the existing photos. There are speculations that it could be an extension of a secret app offered to celebrities called Twitter Camera – an exclusive app that allows a “custom photo experience” to its users and produces exclusive pictures and gifs for Twitter.

As per reports from Recode Twitter is currently testing photo stickers with a small group of users. The new feature will also let you see how others have edited the same image and suggest pictures from current trends as well as breaking news for you to edit.

There are no confirmations as where Twitter will source photos from or how it will determine images to recommend to you. Neither has the networking portal shared any information about the possible roll out in the coming days. A spokesperson told Recode, “We’re always researching potential new ways to make Twitter more expressive.”

Stickers might just add a zing factor to the ‘information’ networking on Twitter. Tweets with fun images, the way it happens on Facebook or Snapchat, would surely attract more eyeballs for Twitter.
