STG launches first professional course in bioinformatics

NEW DELHI: Software Technology Group (STG), a global IT Services

Company, has announced the launch of its advanced diploma in

Bioinformatics, a program that caters to the needs of several fast

emerging industries such as Genomics, Pharma, Agro and Biotechnology. By

doing so, STG has also become the first major IT training organization to

offer training in this growing industry. To start with, the program will

be available at STG centers in New Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore. In the

second phase, STG has plans to take it to other cities including Mumbai,

Kolkata and Chennai.

The advanced diploma in Bioinformatics@STG comprises of six modules

spread over duration of one year. Experienced faculty with domain

expertise and visiting faculty guide the extensive course structure. The

modules are patterned in the form of project-based training for all

modules with exhaustive content material and practicals.






Announcing the launch of first Bioinformatics course in India, Software
Technology Group (STG) chairman and CEO, Yogesh Vaidya (STG) said,

industry and introduction of newer genomic techniques in biology and
