Steria to expand Indian operations

MUMBAI, INDIA: Group Steria SCA, an IT-driven business services provider, today announced its intention to expand and rebrand its Indian operations following the recent acquisition of Xansa.

Speaking at the NASSCOM Indian Leadership Forum in Mumbai, Group Chairman and Chief Executive Francois Enaud said that under the new Indian Chairman and CEO, Mukesh Aghi, Steria plans to significantly grow its Indian operations.

With over 5,000 staff and delivery centres in Noida, Chennai and Pune, the organisation’s Indian operations already contributes to more than a quarter of Steria’s global headcount.

Coupled with a strong network of teams across Europe, North Africa and Asia, the combined Steria business now offers a fully integrated global delivery model to achieve delivery excellence and cost effectiveness for customers spanning both the public and commercial sectors.

Francois Enaud said: “The Indian presence provides a considerable boost to our integrated solutions and services offering, including IT and BPO.”
