Stellar brings in technology to recover data from SSD

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Stellar Information Systems Ltd., a data recovery player, has expanded its services portfolio by enhancing the technology to recover data from solid state disk (SSD).

Manoj Dhingra, director, Stellar Information Systems Ltd., said: “SSD is the fastest growing choice of media due to its less susceptibility to physical shocks, quietness and lower access time. The market for SSD is huge and will tend to grow in coming years. Abiding our motto to “recover data from all types of media” and understanding the upcoming customer requirement, we felt that it is important to have recovery services for SSD drives at place.”

SSDs use microchips and contain no movable parts. It is a data storage device that uses solid-state memory to store persistent data. SSD holds a large possibility to capture HDDS market, as it uses same interface and thus can easily replace HDDs in most applications, said a press release.
