In recent years, new startups have come up which are laying the groundwork for tapping these needs as business opportunities and aiming to not only deliver financial performance but also show how it makes a positive contribution to society.

From getting access to online education in tier -3, providing experiential stay for travel enthusiasts and helping in the student accommodation to ensure that international students are happily accommodated in their new environment away from home.

Witnessing the void in different segments and provide an intricate solution, a new generation of entrepreneurs/Start-ups are making their way to lead the nation towards getting freedom from the basic bugs.

Zostel (For providing experiential travel) – started in 2013 with the mission to change the way people travel. Zostel introduced the concept of experiential travel by providing travellers hygienic, centrally located, and affordable accommodations and getting rid of unsafe and dirty lodges. Adda247 (For helping students in test preparation) – India’s leading government exam preparation platform, Adda247 started its journey in 2016 with an intent to help students who couldn’t enrol at offline coaching centres to prepare for government exams. Adda247’s innovative approach to offer free online coaching for bank PO exams and SSC CGL exams through its YouTube channel came as a huge hit among the learners across India.

Since its inception, Adda247 has been like a companion to students giving them access to quality education content while bringing even the rural area students under their umbrella. It has significantly helped the unemployed youth of the country clear government exams and land up with a decent job in hand.

Safeducate - Safeducate is India’s largest training, skilling and consulting firm that specializes in the domains of Supply Chain Management & Logistics. Launched in 2007 by the house of Safexpress, the leading logistics service provider in India, the idea of Safeducate evolved with an aim to meet the demand gap for skilled workforce in the ever-growing logistics of the country.

In 2013, Safeducate came into being as a separate legal entity working towards the skilling and empowerment of individuals by offering industry-relevant courses, programs, and workshops. Recently they have launched their mobile app. The app records and stores crucial information regarding its offline mobilization activities such as job affairs, panchayat meets, door to door counseling, among others. It will also act as a destination to store information related to the registration of students.

All of this will be possible on a real-time basis. The app will enable the ground staff to track on-going activities and keep a check on its progress without any hassles. It will also allow Safeducate to enhance the event and schedule tasks for better planning and accurate output. Potential students will now have an option to register themselves through an online enrolment form, which otherwise was a tedious and time-consuming process.

Shiprocket (Helping in last-mile delivery problems)- Shiprocket is a logistics tech aggregation platform that automates logistics solutions for small businesses in the eCommerce sector. The platform allows consumers to interact with the courier as well as the merchant in case they want to redirect their shipment, update their address or select a future date of delivery. Every seller on the platform gets a free, customizable and white-label tracking page where they can embed marketing material and provide accurate tracking to their buyers thereby boosting consumer engagement after the shipment is dispatched
