“We are targeting verticals such as BFSI, IT and ITeS sectors that require data backup and protection. We will partner with channels, managed service providers, independent software vendors and system integrators along with resellers' network to offer this solution,” said Anand Kekre, CEO and co-founder, Anoosmar.

The company had a few months back rolled out a public beta with 35 customers and a private beta with 12 customers. Its CTO and co-founder Ankur Panchbudhe said that they are focusing more on cloud, with data protection and privacy being the priority. “We want to be the best in the world in terms of data security and protection.”

Asked about the salient features of Vaultize, Panchbudhe said, “We offer 256-bit AES encryption at source while other companies offer encryption at server level. Vaultize offers OAuth protection for data privacy which provides data backup for executive laptops, desktops and servers.”

He further claimed that Anoosmar is the only company in the world to have encryption at source and OAuth protection.

Among other features, Vaultize also offers data backup, restoration, disaster recovery, synchronization, collaboration, sharing over web, online and mobile access. In terms of pricing, it uses a pay-per-use model with a promise on higher returns on investments to its clients.

While online backup remains a time-consuming process and takes huge bandwidth to function, Anoosmar offers a unique solution called disk shipping, by which the client can collect and store data on external disks via a collector software, and then the disks are physically shipped and loaded on the cloud.

However, Anoosmar has tied up with NetMagic and are in talks with other cloud service providers in India to offer Vaultize. “We want to offer options to customers by partnering other cloud providers like NetMagic, Reliance and Tata Communications,” Panchbudhe said.

Asked about its future plans, Kekre said that, “We want to expand our market reach through partners and will continue to focus on engineering and development of new innovative solutions,” Kekre concluded.
