ST intros first iNEMO design challenge in Italy for students and engineers

ITALY: STMicroelectronics launched the first iNEMO Design Challenge in Italy.

It is the first time ST is running an open competition for students and engineers in Italy to design innovative applications built around ST's award-winning iNEMO smart multi-sensor technology.

Similar competitions have been successfully run in Asia. The iNEMO Design Challenge encourages contestants to leverage the wide range of sensing technologies that MEMS offers to create innovative ways of interaction among technology, life, and the environment, making our lives more convenient.

ST's iNEMO is a unique evaluation and development tool that offers up to 10 degrees of freedom, combining a 3-axis accelerometer, a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis magnetometer and one pressure sensor managed by an STM32 microcontroller.

Integrating multiple sensors with processing capabilities, the board enables leaps in functionality and performance in a wide variety of applications, including Gaming, Human Machine Interface, Robotics, Portable Navigation Devices, and Patient Monitoring.
