The FDA2100LV's Full Digital Amplifier architecture with built-in low-radiation function, floating digital core, anti-cross conduction, and slope control minimizes tuner interference, enhances cell phone immunity, and simplifies compliance with EN 55025<1>, ISO 11452-2 (2004)<2>and all other emissions standards.

In addition, ST's patented and unique feedback-loop design around the output filter optimizes system performance in terms of electromagnetic interference (EMI),harmonic distortion (THD), and frequency response. This enables highaudio performance using low-cost external components. The same design can drive different speaker impedance, such as 8?, 4?, 2? or 1?.

Joining the 4x50W FDA450LV and 4x135W FDA4100LV in ST's Full Digital Amplifier family, already delighting many drivers all around the world, the FDA2100LV gives designers extra flexibility to create 2-, 4- or6-channel configurations, or combine outputs as a single high-power channel down to 1?. As the industry‘s first digital-input automotive class-D family, these amplifiers connect noiselessly to the digital audio processor without a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) or input filter.

Further key features include full digital I2C control and reliable and advanced digital diagnostics, superior SNR of 110dB and dynamic range of 108dB, unique integrated step-up driver in the FDA2100LV and FDA4100LV, rugged Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) technology, and built-in fault protection. Stop-start compatibility ensures great sound without distortion or interruption even when the battery voltage dips during engine cranking, allowing use in all types of conventional, hybrid, or plug-in electric vehicles.
