Spider-Man in the wireless arena

MUMBAI: J2ME and BREW developer Indiagames, has entered into an agreement with Marvel Enterprises and Activision, to bring the world famous Spider-Man to the wireless arena via a ‘Spider-Man game’ for mobile phones later this month.







Indiagames developed the Spider-Man wireless game under license from Marvel Enterprises and Activision. The game will be available worldwide through all major network operators and will be released on all popular BREW- and J2ME-based phones, in eight languages. Ring-tones with the Spider-Man theme and screensavers will be jointly marketed with the game.







Spider-Man for wireless devices is a side scrolling platform game. The game challenges players to scale skyscrapers, jump, web-sling through the air, punch and battle foes and spin webs around enemies.







Indiagames CEO, Vishal Gondal said, "Spider-Man with its large fan following which spans across countries, age groups, cultures and genders, is the ideal global mobile entertainment brand.
