Spice Digital to launch 3G VAS for MTNL in Mumbai

MUMBAI, INDIA: After talk on how strategic partnerships and revenue sharing between enterprises is the only way forward for telecom in the current the current financial scenario, MTNL and Spice Digital have taken a step ahead and tied-up to launch 3G VAS services in Mumbai.

Speaking about the partnership, Dr Abhinav Mathur, CTO of Spice Digital, said, “After our successful launch of 3G services with MTNL in Delhi in December last year, we now plan to launch these services in Mumbai, within the next couple of months.”

Offering services like video on demand which is routed through the MTNL library and offers the latest music, Bollywood updates, celebrity interviews and even personalised video dedication between subscribers, with a pay per usage scheme, these services have upped 3G MTNL Delhi subscriber numbers by around 30,000 since the launch.
